## Description

Turn distracting apps into a reading habit. Import any article from the internet, a book (an EPUB) or PDF, set a limit, read a few pages and gain control over your phone.

Replace reflexive scrolling with a few good pages.

PaperMode helps you turn time in selected apps into reading time. Choose apps or categories with Apple’s picker, set an app-time limit, and choose how many pages to read. When the limit is reached, PaperMode pauses those apps until you complete your reading goal, then gives you a well deserved unlock.

READ YOUR OWN WAY
• Import any open article from the internet, a book (an EPUBs), and PDFs
• Discover public-domain books through links to their source pages
• Set a daily page goal and track your progress
• Highlight text and return to it later
• Pick up where you left off with reading recaps

MAKE APP LIMITS FEEL MEANINGFUL
• Choose the apps or categories you want help with
• Set pages per unlock and the length of each break
• Increase the reading goal after each unlock if you want a stronger boundary
• Change or pause your rule at any time

BRING YOUR OWN READING
PaperMode ships with no books or articles. You choose what to import. PaperMode Pro unlocks article, PDF, and EPUB imports plus smart recaps. Anything you have already imported remains readable if your subscription ends.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Most reading data stays on your device. Apple’s picker keeps app identities private from PaperMode. When you use smart recaps, the relevant reading text is securely processed to generate your recap.

KEEP WHAT YOU IMPORT
Previously imported items, reading, highlights, progress, and PaperMode’s app-limit tools remain available without an active subscription.

A PaperMode account and PaperMode Pro subscription are required to complete onboarding. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Reading data and imported books remain stored on the device.
