## Description

New: Mycel lets you know when a good day is coming up in your zones, and a widget shows it on your Home Screen. Your foraging journal — now in your language.

Find a good mushroom spot and you'll want it again next season — Mycel makes sure you never lose it. It's the foraging journal that pins every find on the map, tracks every outing, and reads the season from the real weather where you forage, so you know what's coming up and the best day to head out. Set it up for whatever you gather: mushrooms, berries, wild herbs, asparagus, or your own custom species.

LEGAL — Mycel is a tracker, not an identifier. The app does not identify species from photos and does not provide guidance on consumption. Always verify with a local expert before any consumption. Some look-alikes are deadly.

WHAT IT DOES
• Season prediction: it crosses the recent weather in your area (WeatherKit + AEMET) with each species' pattern to suggest what to look for and the best day to head out. Tuned for mushrooms; for fruits and plants, a per-species seasonal calendar.
• Foraging Mode: pin up to 3 species and one tap on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island logs a find with your location. Without taking the phone out of your pocket.
• When to go, zone by zone (Pro): Mycel checks the weather in the background and lets you know when a good day is coming up in one of your zones, based on rain and temperature. The “When to go” widget shows it on your Home Screen.
• Offline spot map (OpenStreetMap) with your finds as colour-coded pins by category. Works with no signal deep in the woods.
• Outing journal: every session keeps your track, finds and notes; group your places into zones and see what you found there.
• A year ago, around this date: Home reminds you what you logged around these same dates in past years. And share your season as an image — no map, no locations.
• 78 reference pages in 34 languages with description, habitat, season and look-alikes. 12 toxic species with explicit medical warnings (Amanita phalloides, Cortinarius rubellus, Lepiota brunneoincarnata…).
• Custom species and categories: add whatever you forage where you live, even if it's not in the catalogue.
• Apple Visual Look Up: Apple's system — not Mycel — can suggest species from your photos.
• Apple Watch: active sessions show up on their own in the Smart Stack.

PRIVACY
• Your finds in your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted across your iPhone and iPad. Or fully local-only if you prefer.
• Zero analytics, zero third-party SDKs, zero tracking. Privacy nutrition: "Data Not Collected".
• Photos never leave your library; Mycel only stores Apple's internal photo reference.
