Automatic edge detection, shadow cleanup, and built-in text recognition (OCR). Use the ID Card mode to stitch the front and back of your driver's license or ID card onto a single page automatically.

Store sensitive files in a biometric-protected vault, hidden from the system Files app. Add passwords to individual PDFs. Strip hidden metadata before sharing. Block screenshots while the app is open.

**REDACT WITH CONFIDENCE**
Black out sensitive information before sharing. PDFVault suggests items to redact — you review, adjust, and apply. Redaction removes the underlying text, not just the visual mark.

**A BRAIN THAT WORKS OFFLINE**
Optional on-device AI suggests filenames and folders, writes three-bullet summaries, answers questions about your documents, and lets you search by meaning ("car trouble" finds the mechanic's invoice). One-time model download from Hugging Face (up to ~635MB total); after that, everything runs offline and you can delete the models anytime. Your documents are never uploaded — only the model files are downloaded.
