DwellLog turns a home walkthrough into a dated, tamper-evident record. Pick an area. Name the component and a location you can return to. Write what is directly observable, rate the condition, and seal the entry. Each seal is a SHA-256 digest, so a later reader can tell whether a record or its photo changed after you saved it.

Work the eight survey areas: site and drainage, exterior envelope, structure, water and plumbing, electrical, climate and mechanical, interior, and life safety. Add a measurement when you have one. Note the weather, the viewing position, and anything you could not reach.

Revisit the same location next season. DwellLog keeps the original and files your update as a superseding record instead of overwriting it, then shows what is new, improved, or worse.

Open a case when something needs action. State the risk in a sentence, set a next step, give it a target date, and link the evidence. Close it with a dated event, never a silent edit.
