## Description

No mic. No trumpet needed. A two-hand fingering trainer with ms-accurate judgment, 13 patterns x 12 keys x 4 levels, plus 4-beat latency calibration. Fully offline, free.

FingerLinga is a fingering trainer for brass players. No microphone. No trumpet. Just your fingers and the screen.

Three on-screen valves let you practice anywhere - on the train, in bed, or any place you cannot pull out your horn. Notes flow across a staff and your taps are scored with millisecond accuracy, so you can finally see which transitions are slowing you down.

KEY FEATURES

[Train both hands]
Switch the dominant-hand mode in settings, and after each session you can also challenge yourself with the other hand. Training your non-dominant hand also makes your dominant hand smoother. Working the left hand at the same time helps the right hand move more freely too.

[No mic, no instrument]
Judgment is by touch, not by sound. Practice silently anywhere.

[Millisecond-accurate tap judgment]
Taps are sampled at 5 ms intervals with three-sample stability filtering, absorbing finger jitter while still measuring true reaction time.

[13 patterns x 12 keys]
Major, Natural / Harmonic / Melodic minor, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Locrian, Chromatic, Broken thirds, Arpeggios, Dominant 7th. All 12 keys with alternating up/down passes.

[4 difficulty tiers]
Beginner (BPM 40-79) / Intermediate (80-119) / Advanced (120-159) / ONI (160-210). Judgment windows tighten with each tier.

[4-beat latency calibration]
A 4-beat tap calibration compensates for device and Bluetooth earphone latency, giving free-app precision rivaling pro tools.

[Trumpet type switching]
B-flat / C / E-flat soprano trumpet. Display, transposition, and key signatures stay in sync. Great for transposition reading drills.

[A = 442 Hz default]
Wind ensemble standard 442 Hz as default. Slider for any reference tuning you prefer.

[Fingering Report]
Aggregates transition timing (for example, 1+2 to 2+3) and graphs your weakest finger movements. A unique feature from a control engineer who happens to be an amateur trumpet player.

[MIDI import + bundled melodies]
Drop in any .mid file as your practice tune. Ode to Joy, Twinkle Twinkle, and Mary Had a Little Lamb are bundled.

[Long tone practice]
Half-note long tones in C, F, and B-flat. The sound plays, but it is the silent finger discipline that builds embouchure habits.

[Visual metronome + tutorial]
A treble-clef flash visual metronome keeps the beat. The first-launch tutorial can be replayed any time from Settings.

[3 languages + light theme]
Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese. Light and dark mode.
