buckyyc is a hyperlocal social app built for one city and one moment: Calgary, Alberta, from July 2 to July 12, 2026.

For ten days, buckyyc connects the people who are actually in Calgary right now, locals, newcomers, and visitors - so you can meet, chat, and make plans during the busiest week of the year. When the window closes on July 12, so does the app. No months of endless scrolling. No algorithm built to keep you hooked. Just the people who are here, now.

WHY buckyyc IS DIFFERENT
- Time-boxed: live for ten days only, then it ends.
- Hyperlocal: works only inside the Calgary region, so everyone you see is genuinely nearby.

HOW IT WORKS
- Create a profile: a few photos, your age, a short bio.
- Browse real people who are in Calgary during the window.
- Connect when you both opt in.
- Chat inside the app and make a plan before July 12.
