ID Quick Reference is a bedside infectious disease reference for clinicians — supervised by Satoshi Kutsuna, MD, infectious disease specialist. Designed for internal medicine, hospital medicine, ED, pediatrics, primary care, and ID trainees, it organizes principles, organ-system syndromes, microbes, antimicrobials, infection prevention, vaccines, and clinical calculators across 7 parts. Anchored to current US guidelines (IDSA, CDC, ACIP, AHA, NIH) and select international sources (ESCMID, ESC, EUCAST, NICE) — citation dates and recommendation IDs are surfaced inline.

【Key features】

Antibiotic Spectrum Chart
36 antibiotics × 64 organisms at a glance. One tap from the top of Part 4 opens an interactive chart in 6 Gram-stain groups (Gram-positive cocci/rods, Gram-negative cocci/rods, anaerobes, other). Three-tier color shading — dark blue (typically active), light blue (limited), unshaded (generally not active) — makes coverage intuitive. Filter by 13 drug classes. Two-way navigation between the chart and each drug detail page.

Clinical Antibiogram (subscriber feature)
Photograph or upload your institution's antibiogram (PDF or image). AI (Anthropic Claude Vision via the developer-controlled backend) extracts pathogen × antibiotic susceptibility data into a structured table. Multi-image upload supported (up to 5). Each disease chapter's empiric therapy view overlays your institution's data alongside guideline-based recommendations.

Built for iPhone and iPad
Universal build. Left side-rail navigation on iPad, full-width tables, centered floating modals, optimized typography (19–20 px), hover feedback for Magic Keyboard / mouse. iOS left-edge swipe-to-go-back; header "Back" pill button; scroll position restored.

26 clinical calculators
CURB-65, A-DROP, SOFA/qSOFA, LRINEC, Duke criteria, Pitt bacteremia, eGFR/CrCl, and more — accessible from each relevant disease chapter.

【Content (7 parts)】
Part 1 — Principles of ID practice (sepsis, fever/FUO, gram stain, empiric therapy, de-escalation, source control, duration)
Part 2 — Organ-system syndromes (respiratory, UTI, intra-abdominal, skin/soft-tissue, CNS, bacteremia, endocarditis, bone/joint, STIs and HIV, ophthalmic, ENT, bite/trauma, immunocompromised, tropical)
Part 3 — Microbe-based approach (Gram-positive/negative cocci/rods, anaerobes, atypical, mycobacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites)
Part 4 — Antimicrobials (Spectrum Chart, β-Lactams, Anti-MRSA, Aminoglycosides, Quinolones, Macrolides/Lincosamides, Tetracyclines, Antimycobacterial, Antifungal, Antiviral, Antiparasitic, Quick-reference tables)
Part 5 — Infection prevention (precautions, environment, devices, outbreaks, occupational exposure, HCP vaccination)
Part 6 — Vaccines (pediatric, adult, pregnancy, HCP, immunocompromised, travel) — with ACIP immunity tables (MMR, Varicella)
Part 7 — 26 clinical calculators

【Important notes】
This app is a clinical reference. It is NOT a substitute for clinical judgment, in-person evaluation, or institution-specific protocols. Dosing requires independent verification — especially in renal/hepatic impairment, pregnancy, pediatrics, or critical illness. Drug availability and labeling vary by country.

【Subscription】
7-day free trial; then auto-renewing monthly or yearly. Clinical Antibiogram is a subscriber-only feature. Auto-renews unless cancelled ≥24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
