VillageShop is the app for community-run village shops - helping volunteers, managers, and local customers stay connected and organised.

VOLUNTEER ROTA
• View your weekly shift schedule at a glance
• Claim open shifts that need covering
• Submit leave requests (holiday, personal, sick) with manager notification
• Receive push notifications when your shift is changed or confirmed
• Access task guides and how-to instructions posted by managers

ROTA MANAGEMENT (managers)

• Real-time updates when volunteers claim or drop shifts

COMMUNITY & ORDERS
• Browse and place standing orders from local suppliers for regular deliveries
• Manage delivery holidays to pause orders when you're away
• Read shop news and announcements from the management team

ACCESS & SECURITY
• Invitation-only - accounts are created by your shop manager
• All data is encrypted in transit and stored securely in the UK/EEA
• Granular role-based access: customers, volunteers, rota admins, and managers each see only what's relevant to them
