Three minutes of piano drills a day, scheduled around what you're about to forget.

Clef is a practice app for people who play piano, or want to. Not songs, not videos: focused drills, graded by how fast you actually answer and resurfaced by a spaced-repetition engine (FSRS) at the moment you're about to forget.

READING
- Note Naming - treble and bass, landmark notes first
- Grand Staff - both clefs, interleaved
- Ledger Notes - the notes hanging above and below the staff
- Intervals - the distance between two notes, at a glance
- Key Signatures - sharps and flats, in circle-of-fifths order

AT THE KEYBOARD
- Keyboard Mapping - find any note on the keys
- Five-Finger Patterns - the shapes your hand learns first
- Triads and Inversions - and how they move
- Seventh Chords - the next layer of harmony
- Major and Minor Scales - fingering included
- Arpeggios - broken chords, across the octave
- Hands Together - the coordination drill nobody practises enough

Fifteen tracks in total. Each one teaches the idea before it drills you on it, so you are never guessing at something nobody explained.

BUILT FOR THE INSTRUMENT
Connect any MIDI keyboard and play your answers. Any octave counts. Or tap the note names and the on-screen keys. Note names follow do-re-mi or letters, whichever you think in.
