Glycohero is a 2D platformer game that teaches blood sugar management without lecturing.

Jump, run, and exercise your way through themed levels and boss fights. Eat the right foods to keep your blood sugar in the safe zone. Eat the wrong foods? Watch the meter spike. Skip a meal? Watch it crash.

WHAT'S IN THE GAME

WHAT'S EDUCATIONAL ABOUT IT
The blood sugar mechanic is grounded in real glycemic index (GI) and carbohydrate values. Both what you eat and the order you eat it in shape your blood-sugar curve — fibre and protein before refined carbs, for example, gives you pills to attack your enemies and invincible shields. The game encourages thoughtful food choices and lets players feel these patterns through play instead of only reading about them.

Exercise reduces blood sugar in the game. You cannot exercise on the move, and there's a cooldown, mirroring how the body actually responds.
