## Description

A text-based RPG, descended from classic MUDs and rewritten for the phone in your pocket.

Each descent is its own dungeon, generated for you, never repeated. Pick a setting (fantasy, pirates, sci-fi, horror, western; feudal Japan, mythic antiquity, steampunk, and the atomic era arriving soon) and a size (fifteen minutes to two hours), then walk in. The walls describe themselves. Enemies have reasons to be there. Choices in narrative rooms aren't dice rolls dressed up. They shape what the dungeon becomes.

Combat is four stats and a single die. Strike, brace, speak, study, each resolved in candlelight. What you carry out of a victorious descent is one relic, kept in your archive at home: small, deliberate meta-progression between runs.

Once a week, a single dungeon is drawn for everyone who dares it. Same rooms, same seed. Descend it and see where you stand against every other player: survivor, contender, ascendant, or paragon. Place well and the week pays you in coin and a trophy for your study. (A subscriber feature.)
