Use the camera or your photo library to save plants, birds, fish, insects, and other living things you notice. Leafwing keeps each record organized with photos, capture time, place information when available, notes, and species identification, so casual moments can grow into a personal index of the nature around you.

Your records are private by default. Leafwing is not a social network or a check-in app: this version does not include public posts, follows, comments, leaderboards, or public profiles.

With Leafwing, you can:

- Save nature records from the camera or photo library
- Preserve capture time and place context from photos when available
- Identify and organize species from photos
- Browse your own catalog by category
- See field sets and seasonal notebook pages grow from what you have actually recorded
- Add or correct species manually when needed
- Link Apple ID so your records can sync across devices
- Recover interrupted saves when a record does not finish
- Organize up to 12 past photos into observations, with dates you can correct
- Save without identifying, or see the credit total before identifying your groups
- Find past records by species name, observation date, or saved place
- Delete individual records or your account from Settings

Leafwing is free to download and includes 30 starter photo-identification credits. When those credits run out, you can buy consumable identification credit packs as needed. Basic recording, manual organization, privacy controls, sync, and account deletion do not require buying more credits.

Photo storage in this version supports private records, photo identification, cross-device sync, and account deletion cleanup. This version does not sell cloud-photo storage, does not include subscriptions, and does not offer social promotion tools.
