Decently is volunteer-operations software for large multi-day events.

Organising committees use it to turn a list of willing volunteers into a staffed, coordinated event — and to keep it running once the doors open.

ROSTER AND DEPARTMENTS
Build your volunteer roster and split it into departments, each with its own overseers, captains and volunteers. Roles determine what each person can see and do, so a volunteer sees their own shifts while a department overseer sees the whole team.

SHIFT SCHEDULING
Schedule shifts across multiple days, venues and locations. Assign volunteers by role, spot double-bookings before they happen, handle declines and reassignment, and publish the schedule so everyone sees the same thing.

CHECK-IN
Run check-in at the door on the day. Track who has arrived, who is still expected, and who has checked out.

TASKS
Track what still needs doing as a team, with priorities, assignees and due dates, in list, board or calendar views.

VENUE MAPS
Upload floor plans and mark the locations that matter — entrances, departments, first aid, equipment. Volunteers find where they are meant to be without asking.

TEAM MESSAGING
Every department gets a chat. Share photos and files, react and reply, and pin announcements the whole team needs to see.

BUILT FOR PHONES, ON THE DAY
Push notifications for shift reminders, schedule changes and urgent alerts. Unread counts on the app icon. Capture a profile photo with the camera. Invitation links open straight into the app. If the network drops in a crowded venue, the app tells you and recovers when signal returns.

PRIVACY
No advertising, no tracking, and no selling of personal information. Volunteer contact details stay inside the event they belong to. You can delete your account and your data from inside the app at any time.

GETTING STARTED
Volunteers are added to an event by their department overseer, so most people arrive through an invitation. Create an account and you can generate a full sample event to explore how everything fits together.
