Practice for your NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification with 60 questions written to the NICET Level I and Level II competency framework. Questions span six core areas: Fire Science, Detection Systems, Signaling Systems, Control Panels, Codes and Standards, and Testing and Inspection. Choose Quick Practice (20 random questions), Full Exam (60 questions with a 90-minute countdown timer), or drill by topic. Every question includes a detailed explanation with the relevant NFPA 72 code reference. Your score history is saved automatically so you can track progress over time.
NEW — FIELD CALCULATORS
Four real-time engineering calculators built for on-site use. NAC Voltage Drop calculates end-of-line voltage and flags NFPA 72 Section 10.14.1 compliance. Battery Capacity Sizing applies the required 20 percent derating per Section 10.6.7 and recommends the correct battery size. Detector Spacing determines the number of smoke or heat detectors required for a room based on ceiling height and NFPA 72 Table 17.6.3 limits. Wire Gauge Selection shows voltage drop and pass/fail status for all common AWG sizes simultaneously. Every calculator displays the governing NFPA 72 code section alongside the result.
