Grocery Buddy is a shared shopping list that learns your supermarket. Share a list with your flat, your family, whoever — it syncs the instant anyone types. Then the clever part: it quietly notices which store you’ve walked into and reorders the list to match its aisles, so you finish faster, every time.

No account to start. No onboarding maze. Add an item, watch it sort itself by category, and get on with your day.

WHAT IT DOES

• Learns every supermarket — GPS detects the store you’re in (or you can select it yourself) and the list rearranges to that store’s aisle order. It gets smarter with every shop.
• Real-time shared lists — add “sourdough” on the bus and your flatmate sees it before you’ve found a seat. No refresh, no “did you grab the milk?” texts.
• One list, every store — plan at home, shop wherever’s open. The list arrives already sorted for that store. No second list. No copying.
• A pantry that remembers — check things off and they move to your Pantry for one-tap re-adding. Buddy learns roughly how long staples last and which versions you usually buy.
• Recipes — keep your go-to meals and re-add every ingredient in one tap. Paste a recipe link and the ingredients land on your list, sorted for your store.
• What’s for dinner? — Buddy suggests meals built around what you’ve probably already got at home, plus a quick pick-up list for anything you’re missing. Email the recipe to yourself and start cooking. (Plus Beta)
• Activity feed — see who added or crossed off what, in plain English, on any shared list.

The everyday list is free. Add items, watch them sort by category, keep a pantry, and save recipes. No account required and supported by a small ad.

PLUS

An optional monthly or annual subscription removes ads and unlocks the clever bits: shared lists, GPS store detection with per-store aisle learning, recipe link import, and dinner suggestions. One Plus subscription covers everyone on your list. If your flatmate subscribes, you’re covered too.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Your lists are yours. We don’t sell data, profile your shopping habits, or share your information with advertisers. Location is processed on-device wherever possible. The only people who see your list are the people you invite.
