How it works
Log your shots. Vurr’s suggestion engine analyses your results using extraction science and adapts grind recommendations to your specific machine, beans, and taste. The more you log, the sharper your suggestions get.

Weather-aware suggestions
Humidity and temperature measurably affect how coffee extracts. Vurr pulls real-time weather data and factors it into every recommendation using established extraction physics — so a rainy Monday doesn’t ruin your shot.

Built for your setup
Choose from 52 supported grinders across 20 brands — Niche, Eureka, Mahlkönig, Baratza, Compak, Comandante, 1Zpresso, Ceado, DF, Etzinger, Fellow, Fiorenzato, KafaTek, Kinu, Mazzer, Option-O, Rocket Espresso, Timemore, Weber Workshops, and Wilfa. Vurr knows your burr size, adjustment direction, and espresso range — so recommendations are never generic.

Your dial, your grinder
Vurr’s virtual dial mirrors your actual grinder — same numbers, same direction, same feel. Set your chirp point, finest espresso, and coarsest position by spinning the dial just like you would on your countertop. One screen, three taps, fully calibrated.

Flow rate — automatically
Every shot shows your flow rate in grams per second, calculated from your yield and extraction time with no extra input. Colour-coded against the ideal range for your roast level. The engine uses flow rate to distinguish a grind problem from a technique problem — so it only adjusts when it should.

Scan your coffee bag
Point your camera at any bag. Apple Vision reads the label on-device — roast level, origin, process method — and feeds it directly into the suggestion engine. No data leaves your phone.

Shot log
Track every pull — dose, yield, time, flow rate, taste notes, and grind setting. Your history becomes the data that makes future suggestions sharper.
