YakPhone — SIP Softphone with On-Device AI

Full-featured SIP client for iOS. Works with any SIP server — Asterisk, FreePBX, FreeSwitch, 3CX, and more.

SIP & CALLING
• UDP, TCP, and TLS registration with multiple accounts
• G.722 wideband audio; H.264 and VP8 video calls with picture-in-picture
• Audio codecs: Opus, G.711 (PCMU/PCMA), G.722, AMR-NB, AMR-WB
• Echo cancellation, automatic gain control, noise reduction, and jitter buffer built in
• Front/back camera flip during video calls; DTMF keypad for IVR navigation
• Native CallKit integration — incoming calls appear as standard system calls
• PushKit VoIP push — self-hosted PBX can trigger wake-on-call and missed call alerts
• Auto-answer — accept incoming calls automatically after a configurable delay
• Call forwarding — redirect unanswered calls to any SIP address or number

SECURITY & NETWORK
• Media encryption: DTLS-SRTP, SDES, ZRTP
• TLS transport with custom certificate support for SIP signaling
• STUN / TURN support for NAT traversal
• HMAC-SHA256 authentication for push relay

ON-DEVICE AI
• Download Whisper models (Q4 quantized) directly in-app
• Real-time call transcription — runs entirely on-device
• LLM-powered call summary and analysis — ask about recent calls
• No audio or transcripts ever uploaded
