## Description

StepDex turns your daily walking into a Pokémon egg-hatching adventure. Every step brings you closer to hatching a new Pokémon — and the rarer it is, the more steps it takes.

How it works:
Receive a Mystery Egg with a random Pokémon, walk in real life using step data from Apple Health, watch your egg wobble and crack as you progress, then hatch your Pokémon with a celebration reveal and authentic cry. Add it to your StepDex and start your next egg.

Real step tracking via Apple HealthKit — works in the background, even with the app closed
All 1,025 Pokémon species across Generations 1–9, including Legendaries and Mythicals
Rarity-based hatching: ~1,000 steps for common Pokémon, 20,000+ for Legendaries
Animated egg reactions — wobbling, cracking, and glowing as you near a hatch
Full StepDex collection with sprites, types, abilities, and Pokédex entries
Pokémon cry playback and Pokédex text-to-speech
