## Description

Hanadokei is now Ayumigusa. Same plants, same shelf, same diary — plus two new species, twenty-one in all.

An iPhone app that puts a small living scene on your home screen.
 
Your step count moves it along. A seed sprouts, buds form, and the
flower opens — one stage at a time, from walking alone. Keep the day
itself too: where you went and what the weather was.
 
Every plant is modelled in 3D. Turn one with a finger and look at it
from the side or the back. The pot follows the real world, and the
light shifts in direction and colour as the hours pass.

• A plant on your home screen: the time, the date, your steps, and
  the plant as it stands today
• A walking diary: keep a day, with the place and the weather beside it
• 21 plants from around the world: Violet, Shepherd's Purse, Rose,
  Tulip, Daisy, Lavender, Sunflower, Poppy, Columnar Cactus,
  Lily of the Valley, Baby Blue Eyes, Japanese Morning Glory,
  Money Tree, Japanese Maple, Cherry Blossom, Baobab, Ginkgo,
  Hydrangea, Cosmos, Narcissus, Pansy
• Six stages from sprout to full bloom, moved only by your steps
• A collection shelf, in 3D, where finished plants stand side by side
• Where each one comes from, and what ten of the flowers have
  traditionally meant
• Choose the pot: unglazed terracotta or white porcelain
• Choose the typeface from four
• Light through the day: morning to evening, and a lamp after dark
• Weather in the scene: clear, cloudy, and rain each look different
• Automatic step counting through Apple Health
