HOW IT WORKS
• Tap the orb and start speaking — your speech is transcribed live and translated on the spot.
• Tap the flag to switch which language you're speaking. Switching mid-conversation is instant, so back-and-forth dialogue flows naturally.
• Tap the speaker icon on any line to hear the translation spoken back — perfect for showing the other person what you mean.
• Point your camera at a menu, sign, or document to translate text from a photo.
• Type or paste text directly when speaking isn't an option.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Translation happens on your device using Apple's built-in Translation framework. After the first one-time language download, translations work offline with zero latency and nothing to send away. We don't build a profile on you, and there are no ads.

OpenRaven is free to use, with 30 minutes of voice translation every day. Your daily minutes reset automatically — there's no subscription, no paywall, and no credit card. Camera and typed translations don't count against your voice minutes at all.
