## Description

Baton is a coordination and timing tool designed for teams participating in multi-leg relay races. It provides a shared dashboard for runners to synchronize their progress, record handoffs, and view updated estimates for future legs throughout the event.

   * Simple Team Entry: Participants can join an existing team via a 6-character room code. No account creation is required to participate in a race.
   * Runner Assignments: Tools for organizers to assign specific runners to legs and set expected flat paces for more accurate initial planning.
   * Performance Tracking: View individual runner statistics, including pace analysis and time deltas (ahead/behind schedule) for each leg.
