Backlot is a vehicle marketplace built around one simple idea: the listing should actually tell you what you're buying. We check the VIN on every vehicle, so the make, model and year you see are verified, not just whatever a seller typed in.
You can browse cars, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles from private sellers and dealers, save the ones you're interested in, and message sellers right in the app. If you're selling, you can list your own vehicle and manage everything from one place, no separate accounts or apps needed.
We also built in a few things most marketplace apps skip. You can check out a seller's profile and public reviews before you ever reach out, so you're not going in blind. If something feels off, you can report or block. And if you want a second opinion before you buy, there's a small community of car forums where you can ask real people questions.
