## Description

Otowui QR Scanner is the companion app for event teams running in-person events with Adobe Marketo Engage. Pull your registrant list, check people in by name or by QR code, handle walk-ins, and let every check-in reach your Marketo program the moment it happens. Built for trade shows, conferences, roadshows and corporate events.

YOUR EVENT, ON YOUR PHONE
• Pull the registrants of any Marketo program in seconds.
• Find anyone by name, email or company.
• Registered and Checked-In lists, with live counts.
• Check someone in with one tap, undo a mistake, or set any other program status.

QR SCANNING
• Point the camera at a badge QR code to check an attendee in instantly.
• Each QR code carries its own program and status, so scanning works for any event.
• Undo the last scan when it was the wrong person.

WALK-INS
• Someone who never registered? Their email is enough.
• They are matched in Marketo, or created with the name and company you type, then added to the program with the status you choose.
• Existing people are never overwritten: only their empty fields are filled in.
• Their badge QR code is generated on the spot.

WORKS WITH POOR WI-FI
• Scans and walk-ins made without a connection are queued on the device.
• They are sent automatically as soon as the network is back, with no duplicates.
• The registrant list stays readable offline.

SEVERAL PHONES, ONE EVENT
• Every check-in is written to Marketo immediately, so Marketo stays the single source of truth.
• Each phone refreshes on its own, so you see the people your colleagues check in.

CLOSING THE EVENT
• When it is over, move the registrants who never showed up to No Show in one pass.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in with your Otowui credentials.
2. Choose your event and pull its registrants.
3. Check people in by name, or scan their badge QR code.
4. Add walk-ins as they arrive.
5. Close the event to mark the no-shows.

REQUIREMENTS
An active Otowui Util-CheckIn subscription and Marketo API credentials are required. Creating walk-ins also requires the Read-Write Lead permission on your Marketo API role. Contact your Otowui administrator for access credentials.
