## Description

Gentle relief for motion sickness (kinetosis), travel sickness, seasickness & fear of flying. Viativity is your smart Swiss companion for enhanced well-being on the go.

Look forward to the journey, not just the destination! Don't let motion sickness (kinetosis), seasickness, or fear of flying ruin your vacation. Viativity™ is your digital companion for relief from travel discomfort. The app helps you find your inner balance so you can finally enjoy the ride.

Why does motion sickness occur?
It is usually a simple misunderstanding in the body: The eyes report a standstill (e.g., inside a cabin or looking at a phone in a car), while the inner ear feels every curve. The brain sounds the alarm.

How Viativity helps:
Using science-backed methods, the app provides tools to resolve the sensory conflict or to actively calm the nervous system.

1. Relief for Motion & Seasickness
• Artificial Horizon: Ship passengers under deck know the trick of using a half-filled water bottle to simulate the horizon. The app uses the smartphone sensors to display the real-time movement synchronously. The eye sees what the ear feels – the conflict resolves gently.
• P6 Acupressure: Interactive guide for massaging the Nei-Kuan point on the wrist to send calming signals to the stomach.

2. Audio Methods (Sound-based Relief)
The brain has the natural ability to adapt to acoustic rhythms. Viativity utilizes this mechanism and offers four targeted frequencies for typical travel stressors:
• For Motion Sickness (100 Hz): Stabilizes your sense of balance and relieves the queasy feeling. A focusing background tone gently shields against contradictory motion stimuli.
• For Fear of Flying (6 Hz): Promotes deep mental calm. A special stereo sound stimulates relaxing brain waves to help you consciously find peace in the cramped cabin.
• For Inner Restlessness (16 Hz): Gently masks sensory overload and puts you into a relaxed wakefulness. The sound aims to stimulate the resting nerve.
• For Deep Relaxation (1 Hz): Facilitates falling asleep quickly in unfamiliar surroundings. The extremely slow rhythm slows down brain activity to the level of deep sleep.
• Pink Noise: Switchable to gently mask annoying ambient sounds like engine roar.

3. Situational Breathing (Nausea, Fear of Flying, Stress & Panic)
When inner restlessness rises, your breath is your strongest anchor. Choose from 4 rhythms (e.g., the 4-7-8 breathing to dampen fear of flying). The effect: A long exhale specifically activates the calming nerve (vagus nerve). Gentle vibrations blindly guide you through the rhythm – simply close your eyes and relax.

4. Preventive Training (At Home)
• Mental Rotation: 3D vision training. Trained spatial awareness helps the brain process motion data more efficiently during travel.
• Body Balance: Train your core stability with closed eyes (via audio & haptic feedback only).
• Focus: Bind your visual attention to tune out disruptive stimuli.

A fair Swiss passion project
Developed by a solo developer from Switzerland. Viativity stands for fairness: Pay once (the price of an airport coffee) and use it forever.
Family Sharing: Buy once, share with your family for free. No subscriptions. 100% ad-free. 100% offline usage – ideal for airplane mode. Full data privacy: No registration, no tracking.

Radical Transparency (Please read before buying):
• Sensors: The smartphone strictly requires a gyro sensor (gyroscope) to use all tools.
• Headphones: Stereo headphones are mandatory for the audio methods (6 Hz, 16 Hz, 1 Hz). Mono headphones are sufficient for 100 Hz.
• Haptics: Vibration intensity depends on the smartphone model.

Not a medical device: Viativity is a wellness application for enhanced well-being during travel. It provides no diagnoses and does not replace medical treatment. In case of persistent discomfort, please consult a physician.
