German noun genders don't follow tidy rules, and guessing wrong in front of a native speaker never gets less embarrassing. DER DIE DAS turns that struggle into a habit you actually keep, using spaced repetition and eight fast, replayable games. 

Translations are available in 17 languages, including Arabic, Ukrainian, Farsi, Russian, Polish, and Chinese — learn German from the language you already think in.

HOW YOU LEARN
Every word you study is scheduled with FSRS, the same memory algorithm used by top flashcard apps — so you review a noun right before you'd forget it, not on a fixed daily list. Choose read, listen, or speak cards, or mix all three.

Artikeltrennung sorts words by gender. Gegen die Uhr races the clock. Überlebenstraining takes a life for every miss. Paare finden is a matching game. Hören & Wählen trains your ear with audio only. Diktat has you write what you hear. Einer muss gehen makes you spot the odd gender out. Shadowing listens back and scores your pronunciation.

DUEL A FRIEND — OR A BOT
Challenge someone in real time: tap the right article before they do. Play a friend, find a random opponent, or face a CPU character with its own name, title, and rating. Every duel counts toward a leaderboard and your match history.
