BUILT FOR THE FRONT LINE
• Push-to-talk voice channels — half-duplex, so it works like the radio your team already knows.
• Speak straight from a locked phone. Pinned channels play out loud without unlocking, using Apple's PushToTalk system so audio comes through even in the background.
• Text messaging and voice messages for anything that doesn't need to be said out loud.
• Live presence — see who's on shift and on channel right now.

EMERGENCY ALERTS THAT CUT THROUGH
• Raise an alert to a room and every member is notified instantly.
• Critical alerts can sound even when a phone is silenced or in a Focus mode, so an emergency is never missed.
• Acknowledge an alert in one tap so your safety officer knows you've seen it and whether you need help.

LIVE LOCATION WHEN IT MATTERS — AND ONLY THEN
• Opt in to share your location with your safety team during an active emergency.
• Your position updates live on their incident map — including with your phone locked — so responders come to where you are, not where you were.
• iOS shows the location indicator the entire time, so you always know it's on.
• Sharing starts only when an alert is active, stops the moment the alert ends, after one hour, or when you tap Stop — and never happens at any other time. This is safety, not tracking.

MADE FOR ORGANIZATIONS
whoot. is a workplace tool. Your organization sets up channels, members, and safety rooms from the whoot. web dashboard, and you sign in with the account your administrator provides.

Note: whoot. requires an organization account. You'll need sign-in details from your employer or administrator to use the app — it isn't a consumer social app and can't be used on your own.
