Caldera Music is a Plex-connected music player for Apple TV, built for big audio: lossless decoding, native multichannel, and an immersive MilkDrop visualizer on your TV.

Caldera Music connects to your Plex Media Server and turns Apple TV into a dedicated music player — designed around the way audiophiles actually listen, not just paused-video-with-album-art. Browse your library on the big screen, and control playback from Plexamp on your phone.

The visualizer is a complete HD port of the classic MilkDrop engine — over 500 reactive presets that bloom, warp, and pulse to the music in real time, rendered with Metal at full Apple TV resolution. Leave it running on the TV during dinner parties or focused listening sessions!

Audio quality is uncompromised end to end: bit-perfect decode of FLAC, ALAC, and high-resolution sources; native 4.0, 5.1, and 7.1 surround when your AVR supports it; album-aware loudness leveling that pulls everything toward a consistent volume without flattening the dynamics; sweet fades between tracks from mixed albums, and gapless playback for albums.

Caldera Music is its own Plex player — pick it from Plexamp on iPhone or Mac and control playback, queues, and seek from the couch. Repeat modes, shuffle, and queue editing all work end to end.
