## Description

Master Japanese hiragana and katakana by racing through a neon-lit Tokyo cityscape. Kana Racer turns memorization into an arcade game — swipe between lanes, pick the correct answer, and watch your knowledge grow.

LEARN BY PLAYING
Steer your car through gates displaying kana characters. Choose correctly to score points and build combos. Choose wrong and you lose a life. Three strikes and you're out. The faster you learn, the faster you go.

SCIENTIFICALLY-BACKED LEARNING
Kana Racer uses the Leitner spaced repetition system with 5 progressive levels. Characters you struggle with appear more often. Characters you've mastered fade into the background. Every correct answer advances a card. Every mistake sends it back to square one. Your brain gets exactly the practice it needs.

104 CHARACTERS ACROSS 4 SETS
  - Seion: 46 basic sounds
  - Dakuten: 20 voiced sounds
  - Handakuten: 5 semi-voiced sounds
  - Yoon: 33 compound sounds

Unlock sets at your own pace or dive into all 104 characters at once.

3 GAME MODES
  - Hiragana: See romaji, pick the correct hiragana
  - Katakana: See romaji, pick the correct katakana
  - Romaji: See kana, pick the correct romanization

Enable multiple modes and they'll rotate automatically as you play. Hiragana and katakana progress are tracked independently so you always know where you stand.

COMBO SYSTEM
Chain correct answers together to build combos. Hit 5 in a row and a particle trail lights up behind your car. Hit 10 and the road turns gold. The game rewards consistency.
