## Description

Whittle cuts your camera roll down to what you actually want to keep.

Not by guessing. By letting you decide.

You open a month. One photo fills the screen. Swipe one way to keep it, the other to let it go. Then the next one. The progress bar shows how far into the month you are, and how much is left.

Working month by month keeps it finite. Twelve thousand photos is a wall. March 2023 is 180 photos, and you can finish it before your coffee goes cold. When the month is done, it's done — and you can see that it's done.

Nothing is deleted behind your back. Every photo that leaves your library left because you sent it there.

Why Whittle and not an automatic cleaner

Other apps offer to scan your library and clear it in one tap. They decide which photo of the three near-identical ones is the good one. They decide the blurry one isn't worth keeping. Sometimes they're right.

But you never see what went. And the pile comes back, because nothing about how you take photos has changed.

Whittle is slower on purpose. You look at each photo once and make one call. It takes a few minutes per month, and at the end you know exactly what your library contains — because you're the one who chose it.

A camera roll you've been through is a different thing from a camera roll something else has been through.
