You find the perfect article on your phone, but you want to read it on your laptop. You spot an address on your desktop, and you'll need it in your phone's map in two minutes. Instead of an improvised workaround each time, PasteLog gives you one log that's built for this and always works the same way. Whatever you save once is available on all your devices, one tap to copy, and still waiting next time.

Everything else in the app makes sure the messy cases are just as easy - the app is optimized to eliminate the pain of cross-device data transfer.

No signal? Your synced log is already on the device, and it catches up when you're back online.

Already in another app? The iOS Share Sheet saves straight from Safari, Photos, Files, Notes, Messages, or any app.

Not just text? Save pictures and documents to the same log, grouping related files into a single entry and adding tags and descriptions just like you would for text.

Log getting long? Tag items and filter by tag for convenient access (e.g. all airline loyalty numbers, or all favorite restaurant addresses). Add descriptions to remind yourself what the item is (e.g. the name of the airline whose loyalty number is saved for copy+pasting, or the name of a restaurant whose address is saved).

Something private? Turn on end-to-end encryption and your text, descriptions and tags are encrypted on your device before they sync, so the server only stores ciphertext and we can't read your log. A 12-word recovery phrase unlocks it on your other devices.

On a laptop? The same log opens in any browser at pastelog.app.

PasteLog never reads your clipboard, either. Nothing lands in your log unless you put it there.

Text, descriptions, tags, and end-to-end encryption are completely free, along with a starter allowance for file storage. Optional upgrades are available if you need gigabytes of extra space or support for large files.

The app has no ads, even in the free tier. A free account is required, since your log syncs through the cloud.
