SHPE NJIT is the official mobile app for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at NJIT, your one-stop hub for staying connected with the chapter. Browse upcoming events like workshops, info sessions, networking nights, and socials on a calendar that changes with the season. RSVP in a tap, answer any registration questions, add events to your phone calendar, and check in when you arrive by scanning the QR code at the door. Leave feedback afterward and share events with friends, so you never miss a chance to get involved. 

Connect with the SHPE familia through the feed, where members post photos, videos, and polls, tag events, mention each other, and react in the comments. Share a Cuento to post a moment that disappears after 24 hours. Message members one on one or in group chats, send connection requests, and build a profile with your major, interests, links, and a short note or song that shows what you are into. Browse students and alumni to find shared backgrounds and career paths, and alumni can mark themselves as open to mentorship for resume reviews, mock interviews, and coffee chats. 

Stay motivated with the points and ranking system. Earn points by attending events, checking in, and posting, then climb the seasonal leaderboard and work your way up the Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers. See who gets named Member of the Month, explore the chapter's committees, and take a break with the app's weekly games and their own friendly leaderboard.
