## Description

Open map links in your preferred app—Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. Works automatically in Safari (with extension enabled). On-device. No analytics.

MapLink Router makes map links behave the way you expect: when you tap an address or “Directions” on the web, it opens in your preferred navigation app—Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze—instead of whatever the website picked.

HOW IT WORKS

* Runs as a Safari Web Extension (enable it once in Settings → Safari → Extensions)
* Detects supported map/location links and reroutes them to your chosen app
* Uses on-device link parsing and routing — no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE

* Choose your default: Apple Maps / Google Maps / Waze
* Supports common place/search and directions links from Apple Maps and Google Maps (and routes to Waze too)
* Optional “Enhanced” mode: if you land on a Google Maps directions page (including from Google Search “Directions”), it can automatically open the route in your preferred app
* If a link can’t be routed confidently, it’s left alone

IMPORTANT NOTES

* Safari only (iOS/iPadOS). Other browsers and in-app browsers aren’t supported in v1.0
* Some link types (like certain short links) may not redirect, by design
* Opening apps is best-effort: Works best when the link stays in Safari; if a maps app opens first, it can’t reroute. If the app isn’t installed, the link opens in Safari
