If you are attending an event that is powered by EventReference.com then ContactScanning allows you to verify your identity by scanning your own badge barcode and then entering the pin number sent to the email address associated with that badge.
 
Now you can scan other badges of other delegates with their permission and the system will link the two of you together and exchange contact information.
