Fidel is a full Ethiopic keyboard for people who write in Amharic every day, not a
transliteration trick bolted onto an English keyboard. It works in every app:
Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, Gmail, anywhere you type.

Pick the one that matches how you think.
• Fidel, seven keys per row, tap any key to choose a character form
• Compact, consonants with live vowel slots, a whole family one tap away
• Ordered, the traditional Geez family order, laid out as you learned it
• QWERTY Amharic, Ethiopic characters on the QWERTY positions you already know

BUILT FOR THE SCRIPT
• Press and hold any key for every form in that character family
• Word suggestions as you type
• The Ethiopian calendar date and time, right on the keyboard

AMHARIC VOICE INPUT
• Tap the microphone and speak Amharic
• Your words return as Ethiopic text in the app you are using
• Review suggested spelling alternatives for words that may need correction

PREMIUM
• Type "selam" in Latin and get the Amharic equivalent.
• Personal word suggestions that learn the words you use every day
• Auto-correction that fixes typos as you type
• A dark keyboard theme
• Continued Voice Input after the free dictations

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your typed keystrokes stay on your device. When you choose Voice Input, only that
dictation recording is sent securely to the speech transcription service. The app
deletes its temporary audio file after transcription. No accounts and no ads.
