## Description

Dic yr Hendre was one of Wales’ foremost and most celebrated poets. He drew inspiration from the land where he farmed – Yr Hendre – a place which was his bread and butter but also provided the jam of his poetry.
 
This self-guided GPS-triggered app brings his creative story to life, following a woodland trail on the farm land that Dic knew intimately. It includes readings of his poems by his son Brychan, plus recordings by Dic himself.
 
A man of his square mile and a son of the soil, most of Dic’s notable works were inspired by his farming life and the cycle of the seasons.

This app makes use of GPS to show you places of interest close to your current location. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.

Roedd Dic yr Hendre yn un o feirdd mwyaf blaenllaw Cymru. Ei ysbrydoliaeth oedd y tir roedd yn ei ffermio – yr Hendre - ei fywoliaeth, a barddoni oedd y jam ar ei fara menyn.

Mae’r app GPS hwn sy’n eich arwain yn dod â’i stori greadigol yn fyw, gan ddilyn llwybr drwy’r coed ar y fferm oedd mor gyfarwydd i Dic. Mae’n cynnwys darlleniadau o rai o’i gerddi gan ei fab, Brychan, a recordiadau o lais Dic ei hun.
