## Description

The SMARTBATTERY Companion 2.0 App is designed for technicians, service teams and battery specialists who need quick offline access to battery data directly on site.
On iOS, the app does not use the internal NFC functionality of the iPhone and does not directly scan NFC tags with the Apple device. Instead, the app communicates via Bluetooth with an external GENEREX NFC reader. The external reader handles the NFC communication with compatible GENEREX SMARTLOGGER and SMARTBATTERY hardware.

The app receives and processes the data from the external reader via Bluetooth and displays key battery information in a clear mobile interface. This helps technicians check battery status, review logged values and document measurements without requiring an additional network infrastructure.
The app supports offline battery monitoring during installation, maintenance and service work.

The app does not require a permanent network connection for reading battery data. On iOS, data is collected via an external GENEREX NFC reader connected to the app via Bluetooth and can then be reviewed on the mobile device.
