## Description

TalkiSign is a communication aid that supports sign-based communication by translating signs (Danish Key Word Signing, "Tegn til Tale") via the camera into text, symbols, or speech. TalkiSign can be used both by people who use Key Word Signing and by their communication partners.

The app is developed by the Danish company TalkiTale, with support from Innovation Fund Denmark, in collaboration with families and professionals working in the field of communication disabilities.

Anyone can try TalkiSign for free without login, and recognize 25 built-in Danish signs.

Full access:

The full version of TalkiSign is currently available in early access. The full version provides access to personal signs, a larger built-in vocabulary, text-to-speech, and additional features. Contact TalkiTale (hello@talkitale.com) for information about the early access program.

Target group:

TalkiSign is designed for people who use Key Word Signing as their form of communication, as well as their families and professionals. TalkiSign can be used at home, in daycare settings, in schools, and in special education environments.

TalkiSign contains video material from Sprog for Alle and sign language interpreter Elisabeth Holm Hansen, used under license.
