## Review summary

Users praise UNDOOMED for effectively blocking reels/shorts and reducing doomscrolling while preserving messaging and core features. The app improves focus and can provide a chronological/filtered feed across apps. However, frequent downsides include slow, buggy performance; issues with story visibility when hiding suggestions; problematic pro pricing/upgrade flows; login/sync problems across apps; and missing support for some popular networks.

### Pros

- Effectively blocks reels/shorts and doomscrolling while keeping messaging and essential features accessible
- Improves Instagram experience by enabling a more focused feed (often chronological or only following) and supports cross-app use with a useful filter set
- Cross-app hub design and filters provide a centralized way to manage multiple networks
- Core functionality is free or offered with valuable upgrade options (Lifetime) and is perceived as a worthwhile solution
- Users feel it helps reduce mindless internet use and screen time without completely severing social connections

### Cons

- App is slow and buggy in many reviews (slow loading, freezing, crashes)
- Hiding suggestions often also hides stories; the story toggle doesn’t work as expected
- Pro upgrades/pricing flow issues (paying for pro, transfers, and accounts signing out)
- Login/sync issues across apps (sign-ins/logouts when switching between IG, YouTube, etc.)
- Missing support for some networks (e.g., Facebook, Reddit) and incomplete app coverage
