## Description

Explore high-resolution 3D scans of 4 cultural heritage sites in Spain. Walk around these huge spaces, or teleport from the comfort of your chair. As you travel, you can trigger audio guides, informed by current historical research, in areas within each site.

The Museum of Digitized Heritage is a non-profit project to share archives of 3D-scanned cultural heritage sites from around the world. This first edition shares 4 exceptional sites, all within the La Mancha region of Spain:

Calatrava La Nueva Church (c. 1217)
An amazing example of late-Romanesque and early Gothic architecture, this medieval church served as the religious center for the Calatrava order of warrior-monks for almost 600 years.

San Vicente Church (12th cent.)
This beautiful Romanesque church, dedicated to Saint Vicente, has served the community of Siguenza Spain for more than 8 centuries.

Sanctuary of Las Virtudes (chapel vestry, c. 1694)
The baroque frescoes decorating this sanctuary are some of the finest examples in the La Mancha region. We tour the vestry, and its exceptional frescoed ceilings and walls.

Grand Prior's Bridge (c. 1799)
This neoclassical bridge was part of a major Spanish renaissance construction project, the Gran Prior Canal, designed by the famous architect, Juan de Villaneuva.

All 4 site-scans were created and shared (CC BY-NC 4.0) by the non-profit research organization, Global Digital Heritage, in collaboration with their partners in the Castilla-La Mancha region of Spain.

Key features:

    • High resolution 3D scans
    • Spaces can be explored by walking, or by teleporting
    • In-palm menus for each site
    • Bubbles found around the space can be popped to hear more about the site
    • Selectable languages: English, Chinese, Spanish
    • Internet not required (all 4 sites bundled in download)

Great for learning or just enjoying these awe-inspiring world heritage sites.
