Tsumugi is a vocabulary app that turns the words you are studying into short, illustrated stories. Instead of drilling flashcards, you read your words in a story you made yourself - which is how they actually stick.

◆ HOW IT WORKS

1. Look up a word
Type any English word. Tsumugi shows you the meaning, the part of speech, and its CEFR level (A1 to C2), so you always know how difficult a word is.

2. Save it to your word list
Build your own vocabulary collection. Keep the words you want to work on and remove the ones you have mastered.

3. Pick your words and a genre
Choose the words you want to practise, then pick the kind of story you are in the mood for.

4. Read your story
Tsumugi writes an original four-page picture book using your words. Your chosen words are highlighted in the text, so you see exactly how they are used in a real sentence.

5. Keep it on your bookshelf
Every story you create is saved. Come back and reread them any time - repeated exposure is what turns a new word into a word you own.
