Κατά την εγγραφή στο ERGOPARKING app, ο χρήστης επιβεβαιώνει τον αριθμό του κινητού τηλεφώνου μέσω OTP κωδικού που λαμβάνει μέσω SMS. Για την αποφυγή αλόγιστης χρήσης και προκειμένου να γίνει διαθέσιμη η λειτουργία "Άνοιγμα πόρτας" η εφαρμογή ελέγχει την τοποθεσία του χρήστη.
