## Description

**Detector Maps** is a prospecting and metal detecting field app for gold prospectors, relic hunters and coin shooters across the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Combine geological data, historical maps, USGS topographic maps, LiDAR, mining claims and surface geochemistry to identify high-potential ground before you start detecting.

Use offline maps and real-time GPS navigation in remote areas, record breadcrumb trails in the background, mark finds with photos and notes, and sync waypoints with the web app. Detector Grids help you methodically cover sites without repeating ground, while 34 short Detector Academy lessons explain maps, LiDAR, waypoints, trails and Pro tools. Coverage includes nationwide U.S. coin and relic hunting, gold data across 15 U.S. states, Australian states and territories, New Zealand goldfields, British Columbia and the UK.
