The MHIRJ MDP Mobile App is the mobile extension of the online MDP (Maintenance Diagnostic Platform) tool. It brings key diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities directly to your mobile device, supporting In-Service Engineering teams, Line Maintenance Technicians, Systems Specialists, and MRO personnel.

Key features include:

1. Fault Code Lookup

- Input fault codes or messages from onboard systems (EICAS, MDC)
- Retrieve detailed descriptions, probable causes, and corrective actions
- OEM systems specialist experience-based guidance
- Fault specific FIM extracts for Step-by-step fault isolation procedures
- Where applicable, fault troubleshooting supported with OEM communications reference (AOM, Service Letters)

2. Aircraft System Integration

- Quick access to system-specific troubleshooting
- Search Modular breakdown by:
--> ATA chapters (e.g., ATA 22 – Auto Flight, ATA 34 – Navigation)
--> EICAS messages
--> Fault Equations or fault message (MDC based)
--> FDE (Flight Deck Effect) or Sensory (Visual, hearing or feel) based faults troubleshooting

3. CRJ-200 Diagnosis

- Troubleshoot using a simple question and answer interface
- Browse solutions based on historic in-service resolution data for specific queried faults
- View solutions in order of fault-cause percentage, with most relevant solutions appearing first
