## Description

dm Passport Photo App lets you create biometric passport photos from home. For Germany, passport photos must be taken by authorized providers since May 1, 2025, and dm now brings this service to the dm store via this app. It offers a private, fast workflow with automatic biometric checks and background removal, delivering print-ready results with a QR code for immediate printing. No in-app payments—pay at the dm store.

Using the app: choose a document template (ID card, passport, driver's license, residence permit, visa, health card, student/university IDs), take a photo, run biometric verification, and generate a print-ready QR code to print in-store. Benefits include privacy, speed, simplicity, and transparency.
