CivicMapper shows all census jurisdictions for any place in the United States — your current location, a pin you choose, or a spot you look up. Go beyond a postal address: see the state, county, city (or unincorporated area), and many more layers that most maps leave out.

WHAT’S NEW
• Visited Places — color in counties and cities you’ve been to on an interactive US map, and keep a running tally by state
• Phone tracking — record GPS trails while CivicMapper is open, or turn on Continuous tracking to keep logging in the background
• Import GPS files — bring in tracks from dedicated GPS hardware (such as a Columbus V990 data logger), review them on the map, and use them to fill Visited Places automatically

WHY CIVICMAPPER?
Popular navigation apps usually give a postal city, state, and ZIP. They often skip county and many other civic layers — and the “city” on a mailing address isn’t always inside actual city limits. Rural and unincorporated places still get a postal city based on ZIP codes. CivicMapper uses actual geographic boundaries from the US census so you see where you really are.
