## Description

**Yomiwa** is an offline Japanese dictionary, translator, OCR reader, and study tool designed to help learners read, write, and understand Japanese. Its powerful optical character recognition engine identifies more than 4,000 Japanese characters from photos or a device camera, including horizontal and vertical text found in books, menus, signs, newspapers, and manga.

The app includes a large multilingual dictionary with approximately 200,000 word entries, kanji details, example sentences, conjugation lookups, pitch accents, handwriting and radical search, furigana, pronunciation, and support for more than 20 target languages. Users can analyze Japanese text, translate sentences, browse Safari pages, create personalized vocabulary lists, and study with adaptive flashcards. Yomiwa also offers daily news vocabulary, a Safari furigana extension, and the Yomiwa Wall community for asking questions and sharing images with fellow Japanese learners.
