## Review summary

SKYTRAK's iOS app offers strong course-play features and portability, but is hampered by recurring stability and connectivity issues, battery drain, and a complex subscription setup. Users report misreads and accuracy concerns alongside compatibility limitations that restrict use on non-Pro devices. Overall, it shows potential when it runs smoothly, but reliability is a major ongoing problem.

### Pros

- Strong course-play and practice features that many reviewers call unrivaled on iPad.
- Convenience and portability of using SKYTRAK with an iPad for range or course practice.
- Good visuals and a polished interface on high-end devices like iPad Pro.
- When stable, the app provides useful data and metrics for improvement.

### Cons

- Frequent stability issues: crashes and freezes, including after updates.
- Login/auth and connectivity problems: login state not saved, intermittent connections, drops after shots.
- Significant battery drain and device heating during use.
- Complex subscription model and inconsistent feature access (two subscriptions, unlocks failing).
- Device compatibility limitations: best on newer iPad Pro/Mac hardware; inconsistent behavior on older iPads/iPhones.
