## Review summary

The dominant complaint is that a subscription is now required to use core features: reviewers repeatedly say they cannot create or play mashups without paying. Many contrast the current app with an earlier version they remember as free, and dislike being sent to premium screens throughout the app. Positive comments mainly reflect appreciation for the mashup experience before these paywall changes.

### Pros

- Users valued being able to create and play mashups when the app previously offered free access.
- Some reviewers remembered the app as enjoyable and useful before the paywall changes.

### Cons

- A subscription paywall reportedly blocks most or all app features, including creating and playing mashups.
- Reviewers say premium prompts appear repeatedly when they tap buttons or try to use the app.
- Many are frustrated that features they remember as free are now paywalled.
- Some reviewers feel the free-app presentation is misleading because meaningful use requires payment.
