## Description

Emerit Connect is a safety application designed to monitor Emerit Bluetooth alarm devices used by professionals exposed to high-risk situations such as working alone, accidents, medical emergencies, or assaults. It allows the user to secure their working period as soon as their Bluetooth alert device is paired with the Emerit Connect app.

Depending on the configuration previously defined by the administrator responsible for deploying the solution, the user can trigger an alarm manually from the Bluetooth alert device by pressing a dedicated SOS button. The device can also trigger an alarm automatically if the user remains motionless for several seconds, for example in the event of a loss of consciousness.

Once the alarm is triggered, it is immediately received and processed via the Bluetooth connection by the application, which will:

1 Notify the user that the alarm has been successfully acknowledged.
2 Request the smartphone’s location if geolocation is required for the use case and has been configured by the administrator.
3 Transmit the alarm: either over IP to a dedicated server, or via an automatic phone call and SMS to predefined recipients, depending on the configuration set by the administrator.

For safety purposes, the application continues to monitor the Bluetooth alert device even when the user is not actively using their smartphone, as long as monitoring has not been deactivated. The user manages their supervision periods directly from the main button in the application.
