Bob is the app that turns your Apple Watch and your iPhone into a smart sensor and you into a scientist. Smartwatches have 6 of the same sensors that scientists use to study the ocean and the earth. Take, save, and share environmental data with anyone, anywhere, anytime.

L1 and L5 GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou works seamlessly with local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks to provide location and altitude at accuracies up to 10 meters.

The accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass tracks watch motion. 

~~~ Air pressure? ~~~
There's a barometer for that.

~~~ Are you in water? ~~~
Apple Watch Ultra, Series 11 or Series 10 also measure water temperature and depth to 0.1 C and 0.05 meters.
